to use when making a water color painting.
Students will paint a sampler to practice the techniques. Activity D. Students will transfer Design #3 onto watercolor paper. Activity E. Students will paint design #3 in watercolor paint, using at least 8 techniques (wet on dry, wet on wet, gradation, variegation, salt, sponge, scrumbling, soap, sgraffito) H.9.1 Handout: Watercolor painting techniques Materials: Watercolor paper, watercolor paint, small sponges, brushes, water containers, salt, soap, Evaluation: Watercolor painting will be graded according to use of techniques and neatness of work. |
