Line is an element of art that is a continuous mark made by a tool as it is drawn across a surface.   Line can also be implied by the edge of a three-dimensional form.

Unit Objectives: 

• Students will understand different ways of creating line in a 2D design.

• As they learn the terms and concepts of line, students will make their own line drawings.

• Students will use their best line drawings to make an intaglio print.
