• to create a maquette or small model of design

• to create a mobile or stabile 

• how to use aluminum sheet metal and pop rivets to construct mobile or stabile

• about Alexander Calder and his work

Activity A.  Research Calder's life and work on the internet and write a one-page paper .H.2.1

Activity B.  Draw a design for your idea and create a maquette from your drawing.H.9.1.

Activity C.  Use your maquette as a template for sculpture.  Cut metal and construct as designed.H.9.1.
