Responsibilities, and . . . Consequences
Art classes take place in rooms very different from other classrooms. We sit at work tables and often need to get supplies. The atmosphere is more like a workshop. Therefore the need for responsible, helpful behavior is very important for your successful participation in any art course.
Responsibilities
Bring required materials to class every day.
Be seated in assigned seat when the bell rings.
Do not use inappropriate language, sound effects or hand signals.
Two hall passes per semester will be given (handbook required).
Cheating or talking during a test or quiz will result in an F for that assignment.
Attendance and tardy policies will be enforced.
No speaking while teacher or another student is speaking.
Respect the teacher, each other, and equipment and materials in the room.
Consequences
1st offense verbal warning
2nd offense phone parent or guardian
3rd offense Office referral
Severe misbehavior, defiance, or profanity will result in student being referred immediately to the office. Parent or guardian will be contacted.
