The 5thBC/XC Challenge

This is a Magnificent 7 Road Race

            This 5-K run/walk will be run at the Brown County High School Cross Country course. The course is all grass with some trails and hills.  All money raised from this event will go towards the Brown County Cross Country Teams. 

 Where: Eagle Park, next to Brown County State Park (North Gate)

 

When: July 12, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.     

 

 Awards: Trophies will be awarded for the top female and male runners and walkers.  The following age group winners will also receive a trophy:  0-14, 15-19 (2 for this age group), 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70 and above.  

 

DOOR PRIZES will be drawn for after the race. You must be present to win.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete this event. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity or lightning, the conditions on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.  Having read this waiver, and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry in this race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Brown County School Corp., all race officials and volunteers, all sponsors, and all their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
