The individuals that did not come back this year are the ones that did not really want to work hard enough in the first place.
Key Returnees: Sarah Lewis (So) Maeghn Pruitt (So)
Sarah is coming off a good track season and is looking to improve on her WIC runner-up position from last year. Meaghn had a great end to last year. She should improve over last years times.
New Runners: Jessica Shaffer (So)
She did not run last year but look for her to improve as the season moves on.
I am very happy with the group so far. I believe that the girls are stronger then last year and should cut time as the season goes on. We will have to wait and see if the cut in the number of meets will help this years team.
Key Meets 2008: 41-89 Regular Season, Duel Meet 3-3 3rd Place in the WIC and 7th Place in the Sectional.

The team did not lose anyone off of last years team.
Key Returnees: Mike Dobson (Sr), Josh Burton (Sr) & Dylan Allen (Jr)
Look for the this three pack to lead this years team. All three have worked hard this past summer and I except them to have a great season. Mike is a senior and should be a solid runner in the 16's this year. Dylan seemed to learn a great deal from his last track season. Josh had a great track season and should be another runner that will be looking to pr early and often this year. These three will need to bring along the rest of the team in order for us to be a good team.
New Runner: Alden Westcott (Fr) & Nick Harding (Fr)
These two have already made their impact. Both of these two athletes will be making their varsity appearance in their very first meet. Look for these two to move up and may work themselves into the top five.
I am very happy with this years team. We are coming off a great camp and there were 5 runners that joined the 21 mile club. This years team will fly under the radar for a few meets before people start to notice. This years team should be a state team. They all improved over the summer and from last years track season. We will surprise some teams before it is all said and done.
