Arggggh, pirate fans the long wait is finally coming to a close. The fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is soon to be released on DVD. Tuesday October 18th is the date you have been waiting for.
Pirates 4 is a totally different set up then the second and third. It reverts back to what we all loved about the first movie. Classic witty Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is back and just as good as always. The difference in this movie is that Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) are not in it. New actors help give this movie the edge it needs. We have the beautiful Angelica Teach (Penelope Cruz) who plays Jack Sparrow's love interest and the meanest man of the sea Blackbeard (Ian McShane).
   Of course we also see the return of Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) but he's not like the Barbossa we all remember. This movie is all about the search for The Fountain of

Youth, but with lots of unseen events and deceitfulness on the ship; Jack's search is anything but easy. Jack is determined to be granted everlasting life and the only way to do that is push through it all and sail on with people who all have hidden motives and secrets. This movie is a great family adventure and will certainly keep you happy throughout

   Due to a tragic shark attack a young teenage girl loses her arm, but pushes through it all in order to achieve her dream. All she wants to do is surf; and that's what she's going to do. Faith and determination never escape the goal driven Bethany Hamilton.
    Based on a true story, Soul Surfer explains how a young girl overcame all the odds and becomes the champion she's always wanted to be. Bethany Hamilton (played by AnnaSophia Robb) while surfing with her best friend has her arm bitten off clear to the shoulder by a tiger shark. By the time she reaches the hospital she has lost 60% of her blood. The doctor calls her survival a miracle.
     Bethany's parents Tom and Cheri Hamilton (played by Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt) are Bethany's greatest support team. They stand beside her throughout everything and give her the support to do anything she believes she can achieve. Even though Bethany has a rough patch and considers giving up surfing forever, she has a change of heart and goes back to what truly makes her happiest; surfing.
   Soul Surfer has been out since April, but now has been released on DVD. Soul Surfer is a great family film. It shows that no matter what you can do anything as long as you set your mind to it and never give up. Faith and determination shine throughout this whole movie and can inspire anyone who watches it.
